The Malaysian stock exchange is called the Bursa Malaysia Berhad. The major index is the FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI Index, which tracks the performance of 30 largest companies by full market capitalisation listed on the Main Board of the Bursa Malaysia.
Some of the largest and most well-known listed stocks are Malayan Banking BHD (MAYBANK), CIMB Group Holdings (CIMB), Sime Darby Berhad (SIME), Petronas Chemical BHD (PCHEM) and Maxis BHD (MAXIS).
