Interest rates The Reserve Bank of Australia has raised interest rates by 50 basis points to 1.85 per cent with the board placing a high priority on returning inflation to the 2-3 per cent range over time.
Bank of England raises interest rates by the most since 1995 lifting them to 1.75 per cent with the Bank suggesting Britain will spend all next year in a stagflationary recession.
Atlassian has seen it’s share price increase by about 12.10% this week after a positive results release which were better than analysts expected as well as poaching a highly regarded Microsoft executive.
Jobless Rate The RBA on Friday cut its jobless rate forecast to 3.25 per cent for the December quarter, from the 3.75 per cent it expected in May.
A2M share price has increased by about 12% this week on the back of news it applied to sell baby formula in the US. The company is still waiting on the application to be accepted by the FDA.
