Meta – Mark Zuckerberg’s Meta (NASDAQ:META) has reported a drop in quarterly revenue with the company having $85 billion wiped off it’s market value, falling 24.6% in stock price. Tightening macroeconomic conditions are weighing on advertiser spending as well as a strong dollar hitting revenue.
Apple – The largest tech company in the world, Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) has reported record revenue in the September quarter, with the business proving resilient despite broader smartphone-sale slowdowns and global economic challenges.
Credit Suisse – Global Investment Bank and financial services firm, Credit Suisse (NYSE:CS) plans to cut thousands of jobs and raise around $4 billion in fresh capital with the firm attempting to improve waning market confidence.
Amazon – E-commerce giant Amazon (NASDAQ:AMZN) says economic concerns and inflation could weigh on future sales with the company reporting revenue projections of $140 billion to $148 billion with analysts expecting $155 billion. The company’s shares fell 12% in after hours trading, trading near $97.
Twitter – Elon Musk has completed his takeover of Twitter and fired CEO Parag Agrawal and CFO Ned Segal. It is reported that the acquisition will cost $44 Billion US and be purchased at a stock price of $54.20.
